Overview
Evening of ArrivalThere will be an informal gathering in the `West Grove' room of the hotel on Friday, March 14 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. LecturesThe lectures will be held in the Park Theatre of the hotel. RegistrationRegistration for the conference will take place at the informal gathering (in the foyer) and from 8:00 to 9:00am, March 15, in the lobby outside the Park Grove Ballroom. You can get expense reimbursement forms and pay the banquet fee at this time. Evening working sessionsThere will be evening working sessions on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00pm. These sessions will provide students with an opportunity to discuss their projects with the speakers, as well as a chance for everyone to get more details or clarifications from the speakers. Active participation is strongly encouraged. On Saturday the working session will take place at Bill McCallum's house, 5130 N. Campbell Avenue. (Phone: 615-4569) Five vans (holding about 15 people each) will leave the hotel at 7:15 and 8:00 and will return at 9:45 and 10:30. If you drive yourself, please note that parking is limited. Parking on along Campbell Avenue is the best bet. The other sessions will take place in the `East Grove' room of the hotel. BanquetThe conference banquet will be on Wednesday, March 19 at 7:00pm in the Park Grove Ballroom. The cost to participants is $15, to be paid at registration. Free AfternoonThe afternoon of Tuesday, March 18 is free time. We have arranged for 4 vans, each holding about 15 people to drive people to Sabino Canyon (with the possibility of a lunch stop, to be determined by driver and occupants). Vans will leave from the main entrance of the hotel. |
