The lectures will be held in the Integrated Learning Center (ILC), room 120, on the UA campus. Here are walking and driving directions.
There will be evening working sessions on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings. The working sessions will provide students with an opportunity to discuss their projects with the speakers, as well as a chance for everyone to get more details or clarifications from the speakers. Active participation is strongly encouraged. Times & locations TBA.
There will be an informal gathering in the Salon A, B, & C rooms of the Sheraton Hotel on Friday, March 9 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.
Registration for the conference will take place at the informal gathering at the hotel on Friday evening 6:00 to 10:00 pm and again on campus from 8:00 to 9:00 am Saturday morning in the hallway outside of room 120. You can get expense reimbursement forms and pay the banquet fee at these times.
Coffee and pastries will be available 30 minutes before the lectures start each morning. Coffee and snacks will be available during the breaks.
The conference banquet will be on Wednesday, March 14 at 7:00 pm in the Salon C room of the Sheraton Hotel. The cost is $15 for students and $35 for other participants, to be paid at registration.
The afternoon of Tuesday, March 13 is free time. An excursion to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is planned. Details about the excursion will be available in the registration packet.
