There will be an informal gathering in the Bernalillo room of the Wyndham Hotel on Friday, March 11 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.
Registration for the conference will take place at the informal gathering on Friday evening 6:00 to 10:00 PM and also from 8:00 to 9:00 AM Saturday morning in the lobby outside the conference room. You can get expense reimbursement forms and pay the banquet fee at these times.
Coffee and pastries will be available 30 minutes before the lectures start each morning. Coffee and snacks will be available at the late afternoon break (around 4:00).
The lectures will be held in Dane Smith Hall, room 125, on the UNM campus.
The sessions labelled Kim will be question and answer sessions led by Minhyong Kim reviewing the day's lectures. The closing session, Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30 will be a discussion of open problems related to the Winter School.
There will be evening working sessions on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings from 8:00 to 11:00 pm in various rooms of the Wyndham Hotel; a schedule will be available in the registration packets. The working sessions will provide students with an opportunity to discuss their projects with the speakers, as well as a chance for everyone to get more details or clarifications from the speakers. Active participation is strongly encouraged.
The conference banquet will be on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 pm in the Lobo room on the 3rd floor of the student union building. The cost to participants is $15, to be paid at registration.
The afternoon of Monday, March 14 is free time. No formal arrangements have been made and everyone is on their own. Suggestions for outings will be available in the conference registration packet.
